PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: 28 October 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how RENOIMX ("we," "us," or "our") collects and uses limited technical data when you access or use the RENOIMX web interface (the "Platform"). We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Who We Are
- Controller: RENOIMX in England and Wales.
- Email: renoimx@proton.me
If you have any questions about this Policy or your data, please contact us.
2. What Data We Collect
We design our Platform to minimise data collection. We do not collect personal identifiers such as names, email addresses, or wallet private keys.
The limited information we process includes:
- Technical and usage data: IP address (anonymised or masked where possible), browser type, device type, operating system, and timestamps.
- Performance metrics: pages visited, duration of visit, referrer URL, and error logs.
- Public blockchain data: wallet addresses and transaction hashes that are visible on-chain and publicly available.
We do not combine on-chain activity with off-chain personal information.
3. Why We Process This Data
We process this limited data to:
- Ensure the security and stability of the Platform;
- Monitor and improve website performance;
- Detect and prevent abuse or technical faults;
- Analyse aggregated usage statistics (anonymously); and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
The lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use minimal cookies and analytics tools strictly for operational and performance purposes.
- Essential cookies support core site functionality.
- Analytics cookies (if used) operate only on an anonymised, aggregated basis.
- No cookies are used for marketing or user profiling.
You can manage or withdraw consent for analytics cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- Server and performance logs are stored securely and automatically deleted after up to 90 days.
- Aggregated analytics may be retained longer for trend analysis but contain no personal data.
- We do not maintain user accounts or long-term identifiers.
6. Sharing and Third Parties
We may share limited technical data with trusted service providers that help operate the Platform, such as:
- Hosting providers: Netlify, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or equivalent UK/EU data centres.
- Content delivery and security: Cloudflare.
- Analytics: Google Analytics.
All third parties process data under contracts that ensure compliance with UK GDPR and equivalent safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the UK).
7. International Data Transfers
If we transfer data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure adequate protection through:
- UK Adequacy Regulations; or
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data;
- Request correction or deletion (where applicable);
- Object to or restrict processing;
- Request data portability; and
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at renoimx@proton.me.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data protection rights have been violated. Visit ico.org.uk for more information.
9. Blockchain Data
- All transactions made via Immutable X zkEVM, Ethereum, or similar networks are recorded publicly on the blockchain.
- Such data (wallet addresses, transaction IDs) are public, immutable, and beyond our control.
- We only display that data through the Platform; we do not store or manage it.
- Because blockchain data cannot be altered, some GDPR rights (e.g., right to erasure) may not apply to on-chain information.
10. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect data, including:
- HTTPS encryption,
- Network firewalls,
- Access controls and monitoring,
- Regular audits and limited retention.
However, no online service is completely secure; you use the Platform at your own risk.
11. Children
- The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over.
- We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Policy from time to time.
- The updated version will appear here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
- Continued use of the Platform indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
